Designed around a spring in the United Arab Emirates, the Oasis Eco Resort is striving to be the world’s greenest of its kind. The spring is surrounded by 84 suites, providing waterfront views for every room, as well as serving as a reservoir for crop irrigation, fish farming, and recreational activities. A restaurant and bar will offer local fare made with organic ingredients grown right on the property. The wavy roofline houses 157,000 square feet of solar panels that power the entire facility, while onsite waste management and a zero emission zone add to its environmentally friendly features. The resort is aiming to begin taking reservations in 2020.
