Actress Olivia Wilde is currently engaged to comedian and Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudekis, but she was married before. When she was 19 years old, Wilde married Italian filmmaker and musician Tao Ruspoli. The two married in secret on an abandoned school bus with only a pair of witnesses. Wilde says the secret marriage was the only way they could be completely alone. Wilde filed for divorce in 2011, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The two were married for 8 years.
Wilde and Sudekis began dating the same year she was divorced and were engaged in January 2013. The two have one son, Otis, who is two years old. Wilde is currently pregnant and expecting their second this year. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Wilde said she wanted to enjoy a long engagement with her future husband. Since it has been nearly three years since that interview, it seems that she has succeeded. The couple has yet to set a date for their wedding.
